Philadelphia means “brotherly love” in Greek, but in its broader prophetic sense means homosexuals. These are people who, in any number of ways, exhibit both male and female attributes in varying degrees. Jesus addresses this entire body of people by proclaiming his homosexuality. In the narrower sense, he addresses his “brotherly lovers”, and the overcomers go on to become his bride, thus fulfilling numerous prophecies. See Revelation 3:7-12
